My 16' St Maurice Canoe on the northeastern shores of Columbia Lake, British Columbia.

  —

SOMETIMES COLUMBIA LAKE DOES SEEM LIKE PARADISE!

I am very fortunate to have spent many wonderful days of the last twenty-two years canoeing and kayaking on Columbia Lake, where I keep my 16′ St. Maurice canoe and 9.5′ Tribe Perception kayak in the safety of our private community beach area, on the lake’s north-western shores.

The Welcome to Paradise canoe engravings are of my canoe on the north-eastern shores of Columbia Lake at Columbia Lake Provincial Park.  In these engravings we are looking in a southerly direction towards the end of Columbia Lake, which is very near the small village of Canal Flats, British Columbia approximately 12 miles away.

The Welcome to Paradise Gull engraving was taken from a photo I captured of a gull flying near the northeastern shores of Columbia Lake.
